Job Description
As a Senior Professional Services Sales Executive you will partner with
Oracle Security Representatives, as well as identify new direct accounts in your geography. You will be responsible for contacting qualified opportunities, generating initial interest and closing sales. This position offers excellent income potential, a professional work environment and the opportunity to be a key player on the HCM team.
- Actively engage prospective clients and partners to develop relationships; maintain quality contacts with key decision makers; employ company resources as needed to assist in indentifying, scoping and closing sales
- Manage existing accounts: expand current sales levels, understand customer needs, and work with sales management, SE’s, project managers, and others at HCM to ensure client needs are met
- Proficient in delivering presentations for software solutions and services offered by HCM
- Use of CRM tool to manage sales opportunities
- Create complete, accurate, detailed sales activity reports as requested, including forecasts and budgets
- Participate in partner and industry networking events to promote services and software opportunities
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of prior sales experience and track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Must have Consulting Professional Services experience
- Must have Partner or Channel Sales experience
- Identity and Access Management experience preferred
- Ability to travel
- BA/BS Degree
- Demonstrated ability to find and qualify targeted opportunities, engage executives and close business
- Ability to think fast, learn quickly and effectively articulate business and relevant technology concepts
- Ability to work consistently towards a goal, overcome obstacles and ask for the order
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Intermediate (or better) competency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Internet, CRM applications and telephone/voicemail systems (salesforce.com / sfdc preferred)
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations using the latest presentation technology and command of presentation graphics
- Demonstrated ability to develop close working relationships at all levels of an organization up to and including CxO level executives
- Ability to understand, defend and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Ability to grasp complex technical software solutions
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive sales team
Skills and Expectations:
- Representing HCM in a professional manner at all times
- Functioning as an effective team player when interacting with company management, other sales reps, project management, delivery, operations management and other corporate functions
- Ensuring the operational aspects of performance conforms to the ethical and qualitative standards of HCM
- Participate in all aspects of the client relationship, such as prospecting, customer retention, project management, contract/SOW negotiation, invoicing, collections, and overall client satisfaction
- Accurate and timely completion of activity logging, sales pipelines, reports, customer proposals and any other assigned administrative duties in the appropriate standardized process flow
- Maintenance of customer information, sales activity and competitive information in salesforce.com and other applications
- Focused prospecting and customer growth planning within assigned territory so there are an adequate number of prospects/customers/opportunities within the pipeline to achieve quota targets
- Developing, reviewing and executing an individual sales plan with sales management, and executing acceptable sales strategies to sell software and services to accounts within each assigned territory
- Delivering the HCM value proposition
- Attend training, seminars and other continuing education
- Other duties as assigned
